Time to Celebrate!
It’s time to celebrate! Things have opened up, and we’re slowly coming out of our homes and getting back to normal. But, are we? I don’t know about you, but some of our default “going out” plans have sort of slipped away, and the idea of “date night” seems to lack the “date”! This month we’re focusing on all things couples, and for this blog, we’re going to talk about date night ideas that can help kickstart your relationship! We need to bring the focus back on our relationships, and Lovecraft’s got some great ideas to make things exciting!
Date Night Tip #1 – Get Outside!
Too nervous to head back to the bars? Have a pandemic puppy that you need to keep an eye on? There are so many things you can do outside in this gorgeous weather! Take advantage of patios and have a cocktail with your favourite person, or head out of town and pick a hike you like. If neither of these things appeals to you, then take it a step further and add some adrenaline: you can get into rock climbing, bungee jumping, or ziplining.
Date Night Tip #2 – Be a Tourist in Your Own City
We can admit that the tourism industry has been hit hard. Take an opportunity to support local businesses by becoming a tourist in your own city! You can book a cute hotel room in the heart of the city – build upon the ambience by being able to hang out in a space that’s not yours! Get a reservation at a nice restaurant and dress up for the occasion.
Date Night Tip #3 – Stay Home!
Some of you may have realized that just staying in is way better than heading out for a night on the town. That’s fine! That doesn’t mean you can’t make your date night special. Transform your living room into a cozy den. You can bring in blankets, candles and pillows to put together a romantic fort (yes, you can do that as an adult!), or bring the mattress to make your next movie night more comfortable!
